Although the Hammered Dulcimer is relatively unknown now in Co. Antrim, there are records of it being on these shores, in one form or another since, at least, the C18th.
This Blog is designed to remind people of its history in the Glens of Antrim, of the great Hammered Dulcimer players of Co. Antrim, like Derek Bell & John Rae and also, to keep people informed of its current status in Co. Antrim.
